Thomas C. Matthews, MD, FACS, RPVI


Dr. Thomas C. Matthews is a board-certified vascular surgeon with extensive experience in complex aortic reconstruction/open aortic surgery. A Castle Connolly Top Doc, Dr. Matthews considers building strong relationships to be paramount to his practice. He enjoys getting to know his patients, while providing them with the vascular evaluation and condition management needed to produce quality outcomes. His practice combines sophisticated vascular interventions, a relaxed office setting and a commitment to lifelong care.
Dr. Matthews has performed more than 2,000 vascular surgical cases within an academic setting and has been engaged in private practice for the past four years. He has also been actively involved in providing post-graduate education to medical students, resident physicians and fellows.
